Art enriches and serves the community, so my passion for community fuels
my community outreach.
I have spent most of my life improving the lives of children and families. My 20 years experience working in youth
and family programs have taught me the value of investing in the lives of others.
Because I believe artist are community activists. I donate a portion of my proceeds to non profit organizations
that align with my personal passions and community needs.
To support the Early Learning Children's Foundation in Miami, I am donating 40% of the purchase price of
$12.99 for each Miami Beach Art Deco coloring book sold.
Learning Children's Foundation
I discovered Early Learning Children's Foundation (ELCF) on the Miami Foundation's website when researching how to
help victims of Hurricane Irma. I was impressed with how ELCF responded to the needs of children in the Florida Keys so quickly after Hurricane Irma. They were on the ground a few days after the
storm providing water, diapers and other essential supplies.
This is an example of how they impact the lives of children in South Florida everyday. It is the largest
organization in Miami-Dade and Monroe County whose primary responsibility is for the education of children from birth to 5 years. They partner with more than 1,200 early care and childhood providers
in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties to serve more than 50,000 children annually.
They are still working hard helping families in the Florida Keys and South Florida to find hope and restoration
after Hurricane Irma.
